New release of VisibleLogistics, the on-line supply chain management solution

BitLogistics is proud to announce the latest release of its VisibleLogistics solution for small and medium businesses. This new version adds several eagerly awaited new features, and also includes many small improvements and bug fixes.
The new features include:
- a Resources module that lets people manage operational assets. These include things like vehicles, trucks, ships, aircraft etc., or storage units like sea and airfreight containers, boxes etc., as well as static locations like warehouses, storage depots, strategic stock points or shops
- a Catalogue module that lets users manage inventory items. This is similar to a product catalogue and can be used to manage SKU's (stock keeping units), and stock levels at a particular location, providing a basic inventory management functionality
- the ability to upload attachments to orders (in any file format)
- new search features - search on tags as well as full text, and save any search as an RSS feed.
The development team has also improved the Contact module, the Order screens and the Status updates for a better user experience.
VisibleLogistics is on-line on-demand software that provides easy to use order management and supply chain visibility for small and medium businesses. VisibleLogistics is developed by BitLogistics, a company specialised in supply chain software solutions. This approach to order management is to help business partners collaborate simply and effectively, in a similar way to modern social and business networks available on the Internet.

Last but not least, the BitLogistics team has also produced an API to allow integration with other software as well as mass upload of data. This API is not part of the free version, but customers interested in this feature are encouraged to take contact with BitLogistics.
