This week, we updated VisibleLogistics with a new release. In this latest version we had added important new features, improved the user experience and resolved some outstanding bugs.

New features include:

• The ability to add any number of partners to an order, with open roles, this to reflect the more complex supply chains, where agents, freight forwarders, depot and terminal operators or transporters can be involved.
• Tagging is now available in all modules (Orders, Contacts, Catalogue and Resources).
• Contacts are searchable.
• Users already registered in the system can be added to your contacts, either in the Contact module or from a search.

We have also improved the Contacts module, the Resources module and the Orders user-interface for a better user experience. The Resources module is where your store information about any and all supply chain physical 'resources' and assets, such as equipment and locations. The most visible of these improvements is the ability to create a consignment directly from within an order.

We are continuing to work on improving the software and welcome your feedback, as always.
