Today brought several new features and improvements to VisibleLogistics, with our first new release for 2009. The key features are as follows.

Page security information. We have made it clearer which pages show data that you are sharing with other people, and which information is private and cannot be seen by other users. Each page now indicates Public or Private underneath the account name on the top-right of the page.

Dashboard recent changes time-line. The right-hand side of the dashboard now shows a time-line of Recent Changes. This shows changes to your orders' statuses, tags and comments.

Item and resource attachments. There is now a new Attachments tab on the Catalogue's item pages, as well as the Shipment Management resource pages. This works the same way as for orders, allowing you to upload files and attach them to a particular catalogue item or resource. If you upload an image, such as a product photo, you can always show the photos at the top of the page, by using the Select item image option.

Orders page - additional preset filters. The Orders page now shows three new Past Performance search filters. On-time delivery lists orders that were completed before the due date. Late delivery lists orders that were completed after the due date. Exception in shipment lists orders that had at least one exception status at some point.
